Tickets are non-refundable. They are also not personalised: no name is printed on them and we do not check identity at the gate, so if you cannot come you are free to pass your ticket on to someone else. If we cancel the festival, you get your money back in full.
Once your payment has gone through, the sale is final. We cannot refund a ticket because your plans changed, because your travel fell through, or because you are unable to attend on the day, whatever the reason. We commit to facilitators, food and the venue well in advance, on the strength of the tickets already sold.
Tickets bought at the door on a festival day are likewise non-refundable.
Tickets are not issued in anyone's name, so you do not need our permission to give yours away or to sell it on if you cannot use it. There is nothing for us to reissue and nobody to notify: whoever arrives with the ticket comes in.
Two things worth knowing. Each ticket carries a unique code valid for one admission — once it has been scanned it will not open the gate again, so pass it to one person only and do not circulate the code. And because we do not track who is holding a ticket, we cannot help you recover one that was lost, forwarded to the wrong person, or bought from someone who did not honour the deal. Any arrangement you make is between you and the other person.
If the festival is cancelled, you will be refunded the full price of your ticket, with no deduction, whether or not the cancellation is within our control.
If the festival is postponed, your ticket stays valid for the new dates. If those dates do not suit you, tell us within 14 days of the announcement and we will refund you in full.
In both cases our responsibility is limited to the ticket price. We are not able to reimburse flights, trains, accommodation or any other cost you may have committed to.
Where a refund is due under the section above, it goes back to the card or account the ticket was paid with. We cannot refund to a different card or in cash. Once we release a refund, the payment provider and your bank normally take five to ten working days to show it in your account, and that part is outside our control.
