Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work at all; others let a service recognise your browser across visits. This page explains which ones appear when you use wondergroundthefestival.com.
Strictly necessary. Our publishing system sets a small number of cookies when you buy a ticket, so that your basket and your order survive from one page to the next, and a session cookie if you log in to manage the site. Without these the site cannot do its job, so they are not optional.
Payment. When you pay, our payment provider sets its own cookies to run the transaction and to detect fraud. These are set by them, on their systems, and are subject to their own privacy policy.
Embedded content. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading them contacts Google's servers, which lets Google see your IP address and may let it set cookies. We do not control those cookies and we receive nothing from them.
Advertising. We advertise the festival on Instagram and Facebook, and we would like to know which of those ads actually sell a ticket. If you agree, we load Meta's measurement code, which sets two cookies in your browser — one that recognises your browser on later visits, and one that records that you arrived from one of our ads. We then tell Meta which pages you looked at, whether you started a checkout and, if you bought, what the order was worth. Where we can identify you as a customer we send your email address and phone number as well, scrambled by a one-way code so that Meta can only match them against someone it already knows and cannot read them.
You are asked first, and nothing loads until you say yes. If you say no, none of the above happens — not in your browser and not from our servers. You can change your mind at any time: reopen the cookie choice. We use no other analytics, and we do not sell or share your browsing with anyone else.
Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has stored, delete them, and refuse new ones — usually under Settings, in a section named Privacy, Cookies or Site data. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the ticket checkout from working. Blocking the rest will not stop you browsing the site, but an embedded map may not load.
